Taken internally, either in powder or a capsule, turmeric is an excellent natural antibiotic. It strengthens digestion and helps improve intestinal flora. It purifies the blood, warms it and stimulates formation of new blood tissue. Mix a tsp of turmeric in warm milk, with honey at bedtime for a good nights sleep.
