Trauma Informed Workshop for Yoga Teachers & Massage Therapists   Feb. 16   1 - 6:00 PM    $100 (CEU's available)

In a time when PTSD is now a common term, it is important that we know how to provide a safe, healing environment for those we teach and serve. We have a very special opportunity to deepen our teaching skills for Veterans, first-responders, and victims of abuse in this very focused class.

Co-hosted by Barbara Morrison and Charlene Fox. Please join us and invite your friends who could benefit from this information.

Sunday, February 16, 1 - 6:00 PM    $100 click here to register

The workshop will be taught by Charlene Fox. She has been my yoga-buddy for 20 years. She is a wealth of knowledge and experience, and I think the world of her.

Charlene's full-time job is a social worker and case manager with Easter Seals of Greater Houston, where she facilitates Veterans Mind Body Skills Groups (and much more!)

Her work with Veterans since 2012 led her to receive trauma informed training from the Veterans Yoga Project. She is also the director of the Houston Chapter of VetTrip, an outreach organization for Veterans. And she is the director for the New Millennium  Project, which also serves Veterans. Charlene has been a yoga instructor for over 30 years and massage therapist for 26 years.

Please pre-register so we can make appropriate arrangements.

Blessings to all, Barb
